"I have been working at BIC full-time for more than 5 years Cons: Nepotism to it's core value. No potential for job advancement/ promotion. Bureaucratic, super-conservative, slow-paced decision making processes. The latter coupled with no long term planning , results in products never making it to the market. Advice to creatives; stay away! There is nothing creative about it. Products are much more technical and engineering-driven. Work focuses on revamping existing products. Total work time is devised 15% to design and 75% on managing projects, collaborations, meetings, crazy requests etc. Inability of higher management to successfully evaluate managers they hire and act on it. No reponse plan upon receiving feedback and no people-oriented company, resulting in incapable managers staying around for years and bossing around everyone else. Super complex processes and way of working. Long work hours."

"I have been working at BIC full-time for more than 3 years Cons: Very old school mentality and management, curried on through generations who have been in the factory for years. No perspective for career development or promotion. Structure is very solid and old. Decisions and processes are suuuuper slow. No risk taken EVER. No wonder they haven't introduced anything new in the market the past 5 years. A company you would clearly call a ''Follower'' and not a ''Leader''. No restaurant, no coffee shop, no sport facilities in a factory with 1500 people (tennis and basketball court do exist, only in such bad condition that they can't be of use). Constant changes in business objectives. No clear vision for the future. Really disappointing that they rest on the bad economy of Greece, to hire such qualified employees with less money(than abroad), no benefits and for the latter to be thankful just because they get payed on time."

"I bought Borneo kayak and was happy with it until got damaged during transportation.
It was transported correctly with certified Thule Hull a Port carrier, but the the material is quite soft and the kayak deformed from its own weight...
No support from BIC Sports - they don't stand behind their product :(
I don't recommend their gear unless you intend to kayak or surf directly from your apartment/house."
